It means that you will have the boat and the skipper just for you, you will not share the boat with other passengers since you reserve all the places of the boat, which offers you greater social distancing, total privacy and allows you to adapt the excursion to your preferences (whenever it is feasible and within our navigation area).
What does it mean to leave from CALA GALDANA? Cala Galdana is, due to its location, the strategic place from which to leave to visit the most prestigious coves of the South Coast of Menorca and its beautiful coastline, since it is located in the central point of this area, with virgin coves both his right as well as his left. This allows us to enjoy the landscape and the virgin coves as soon as the excursion begins and use the minimum navigation time to reach them. Cala Galdana has in addition numerous establishments where you can enjoy a pleasant meal before or after the excursion, and of course, its marvelous beach!

- This EXCLUSIVE rental modality reserves the total number of places for passengers of the boat (7)
- Accessibility: Not suitable for people with very limited mobility (they must be able to at least enter and leave the boat from the front so we recommend seeing the pictures of the boat in case of any doubts)
- CHILDREN under 4 years old/people without own stability AND PREGNANTS: Everyone, regardless of age, is welcome. This is generally a pleasant and safe activity for all, however, we don't recommend it for these groups of people. As in any activity that takes place at sea (a changing and sometimes unpredictable environment), there may be situations that in our opinion could make the experience uncomfortable (people who don't have their own stability and need help to hold on when the sea is moved) or contraindicated (pregnants) for these people and by extension also for their minders/companions. Of course, the final decision to book the activity is always free and, as in all cases, it is the criterion of the skipper that determines whether or not the maritime conditions are appropriate for the development of the excursion.
- HEALTH STATUS: It is the responsibility of each passenger that hires and take part of any of our excursions to be in a state of health suitable for this type of activity, in addition to acting in accordance with current regulations in the Balearic Islands regarding COVID-19. Any illness that could be aggravated or influence the good development of the activity must be informed to the company before hiring and before the activity is carried out.

Additional information
- The excursion is developed in our VELELLA, a motor boat, open, without cabin or WC, with possibility of solarium in the front, shade canopy in the back half of the boat, comfortable seats and swimming ladder to easy access to the sea. - We do a coastal navigation, very close to land to appreciate all the formations and features of the coast. It is also generally a fast navigation (about 18 knots / 33 km per hour), so even when sea conditions are ok the boat will suffer movements that can be sudden/bounds depending on the waves. For this reason, although navigation is usually very pleasant, should abstain from doing this activity those people who may be affected by the sudden movements/bounds of the boat, rough seas or seasickness.
- The navigation area between Son Saura and Escorxada includes the coves of Son Saura, Es Talaier, Turqueta, Macarella, Macarelleta, Cala Galdana, Mitjana, Mitjaneta, Trebaluger, Fustam and Escorxada, as well as idyllic corners and caves.
- Do not forget to bring some long-sleeved garment (the thermal sensation when sailing in the sea is usually less than the one we have on land)
- Remember that the passenger is responsible all the way for their personal belongings, so they must responsibly determine which ones will get on board and avoid losses, falls and accidents.

Booking conditions
We assume that the client has read, understand and agree the terms and conditions listed when he makes his reservation. That is why we recommend to read carefully the CONDITIONS before proceeding with the payment and to make sure that the reservation that will be realized is for the desired type of tour, date and hour.
Likewise, due to the current special pandemic situation, it must be taken into account when booking that this activity could be affected by new regulations or restrictions that could alter, limit or prevent its development, without this being any reason for claim to this company.
CANCELLATIONS OR ABSENCE OF PASSENGERS
Passengers must show up at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure time. Any passenger who does not show up at the point of departure ready to make the tour at the scheduled time, whether due to delay or for any other reason, will lose his trip as well as the amount paid. If that happens, the customer wishing to do the tour at another moment will have to make a new reservation and new payment for it.
The customer may cancel his reservation at no cost up to before the 5 days prior to the date and local time of the excursion by sending us their request in writing (by email/SMS/Whatsapp). After the free return deadline, a charge of 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be applied to cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to the excursion. During the 48 hours prior to the contracted local date and time, cancellations for any reason or circumstance will not be refunded (In no case will exceptions be made in the cancellation policy due to Covid illness).
* Due to the changing situation we're living because of Covid-19, cancellations without any costs will be applied in case of traveling to Menorca not allowed because of borders closures during the period in which the contracted excursion should be carried out.
There will be no partial cancellations (cancellation of any of the contracted places, p. ex. in shared excursions) or individual refund of canceled places. In case of wanting to modify the number of people reserved and that this implies a change in rate, the client will have to cancel their reservation (assuming, if any, the penalty corresponding to the cancellation policy) and make a new reservation according to availability.
CHANGES IN RESERVATIONS
The client can ask for a change of time, date, or passenger names of his booking sending us a written request (by email/text/Whatsapp) up to before 5 days to the excursion. This change will be subject to availability.
CANCELLATIONS BY THE COMPANY
This is an outdoor activity and therefore the environmental conditions may vary and may not always be ideal. Sometimes wind or cloudiness may occur, we must count with that possibility and assume that the tour could be done in those conditions and that, at the end, will be always determined by the professional judgment of the skipper if conditions are or not suitable for carrying out the tour. According to the skipper criterion, cloudiness or wind may not result in cancellation if these conditions do not prevent the good development of the excursion.
Likewise, the skipper may consider it necessary to change the route of the tour or the swimming stops for a better option before departure or during the trip due to various or any factors as a large influx or presence of boats in a cove, or presence of jellyfish or water turbidity for example.
It is impossible to know in advance how weather will be the scheduled day of the tour and it is also possible that due to worsening weather or maritime conditions the tour should be cancelled at the last moment before boarding or even during the development of the excursion. In case of interruption of the trip the grounds and conditions will be studied in order to evaluate what amount should be refunded to the customer. In no case any additional costs incurred by the client to carry out this activity (travel to the place of departure, etc) will be refunded.
If at any time there is any cause that prevents the development of the scheduled excursion (including breakdown of the boat or the skipper's indisposition), we would try to change the tour for another day or time, as long as that is the client's wish , the cause that caused the cancellation had been corrected and we still had availability. If none of the above was possible or the client was not interested on rescheduling, the full refund of the amount paid would be made.
Refunds will always be made by the same method used by the client for the payment of his reservation.

Payment method
- Payment will be made entirely by bank gateway (credit or debit card) at the moment of booking and you will receive by email a confirmation voucher with the indications for the tour.
Note that there may be several people trying to book the same tour at the same time so your reservation can not be confirmed until payment has been accepted and you receive your booking voucher.
- Our currency is the Euro, so all prices on our website refer to Euros. However, the secure payment gateway of our website accepts payment in Euros and in foreign currencies.
