What does EXCLUSIVE mean? It means that you will have the boat and the skipper just for you. You will not share the boat with other passengers, which offers total privacy and allows you to adapt the excursion to your preferences (whenever it is feasible and within our navigation area) and you will be able to enjoy some of the exclusive activities that our skipper Nano can only offer in this modality* (*ask us for more information regarding this)
What does the SLOW format mean? It means that we make a calm navigation, peacefully enjoying the sea, the surroundings and what it means to "go to coves" in a traditional Menorca's boat.
Which are the COVES that are visited? 99% of the time we will leave from Cala Galdana and visit some of the most desired virgin coves in Menorca that are located in the area between Son Saura and Llucalari, on the South coast. We will not necessarily see all of them, you can ask the skipper for advice or describe your ideal excursion to define the route and the stops you will make. Punctually and exceptionally (when there was forecast of several days in a row of rough seas in the South) we would have to take the boat to another part of the island and make the excursion in that area (generally to Fornells, North coast), to be protected and to be able to continue providing service; the perfect excuse to enjoy the wonderful North coast of the island and its stunning coves!

- Does not include LUNCH, the client must bring their own or take advice from the skipper the possibility of making a stop to eat on land during the excursion.
- Usual place of departure and return: dock of Cala Galdana's port (front to CA'N TONI restaurant) *it would be necessary to leave and return from another point (normally Fornells, North coast) in case we had to move the boat due to bad sea conditions expected in the South for several days.
- Flexible route according to customer preferences within the navigation area in the South between Son Saura and Llucalari. In the exceptional case of having to take the boat to the North, the excursion would be done in that area, generally departing from Fornells.
- Departure period 2024: This modality is available from June to end of September
- Languages: Spanish, english and basic french.
- This modality does not require a minimum necessary number of passengers to be carried out.
- Maximum number of passengers (each passenger needs their own place regardless of their age or size): 9/12 + skipper.
- This EXCLUSIVE rental modality reserves the boat for the enjoyment of a single group of passengers.
- Accessibility: Not suitable for people with very limited mobility (they must be able to at least enter and leave the boat from the dinghy, and get on and off the dinghy that transfers passengers from land to the boat)

- People with a TENDENCY TO SEASICKNESS, CHILDREN under 4 years of age and PREGNANTS: All people, regardless of age, are welcome. This is, as a general rule, a pleasant and safe activity for everyone, however, we advise against it a priori for these groups of people. CHILDREN: This type of larger, open-sided boat makes it more difficult to keep the little ones under control at all times. PREGNANTS: Our boat offers a calm and relaxed navigation, but as in any activity that takes place at sea (a changing and sometimes unpredictable environment), there may be situations in which the sea becomes complicated, even having started the excursion with a state of ideal sea. In such cases, more sudden movements than usual could occur. We recommend consulting with your reference doctor. People with a TENDENCY TO SEASICKNESS: if you are one of those people who gets dizzy just thinking about the sea... keep in mind that this is a private activity, so if necessary it would be possible to take you to the port before the end of the contracted time of the excursion, but you would not get a refund for the time not enjoyed.
Of course, each person knows his limitations better than anyone and the final decision of hiring the activity is always free. In any case, regardless of the decision to book and as in all cases, it is always the criteria of the skipper of the boat that determines whether or not the maritime conditions are adequate for the development of the excursion.
- HEALTH STATUS: It is the responsibility of each passenger that hires and take part of any of our excursions to be in a state of health suitable for this type of activity. Any illness that could be aggravated or influence the good development of the activity must be informed to the company before hiring and before the activity is carried out.
Timetable
This modality allows some flexibility to set the starting time. After making the reservation (with the recommended time established by default) and as a limit one day before the excursion, the client must contact us to specify and confirm the DEPARTURE TIME, to choose between 9:30 and 10:30h maximum. Once the schedule has been agreed, it must be respected. EMBARKING 20 MINUTES BEFORE STARTING TIME.
Considerations to take into account:
- Sailing first thing in the morning is an added pleasure! both for the calm of the beaches (there are much fewer people and boats early in the morning) and for the unparalleled light and serenity that this moment gives off.
- The later, the more mobility problems by car and parking.
- During the start and end of the season it can be chilly and there may be more humidity in the environment first thing in the morning.
The end times of the excursion will therefore vary according to the departure times.
As a guideline, some possibilities would be:
- From 9:30 to 16:30h* + extra time before and after for embarkation and disembarkation (approximately 15-20 minutes each). EMBARKING AT 9:10h.
- From 10:00 to 17:00h* + extra time before and after for embarkation and disembarkation (approximately 15-20 minutes each). EMBARKING AT 9:40h.
- From 10:30 to 17:30h* + extra time before and after for embarkation and disembarkation (approximately 15-20 minutes each). EMBARKING AT 10:10h.
* Embarkation and disembarkation with the auxiliary dinghy could slightly alter this prevision

- Experienced skipper and knowledgeable about local history, culture and nature.
- Aperitif of local products and limited drinks on board (water, beer, white wine, Coca-Cola or Coca-Cola ZeroZero) served during one of the stops.
- Basic snorkeling gear for all passengers (goggles and snorkel)
- 2 Paddle surf boards (SUP) aboard.
- And, of course, fuel and insurance.
Additional information
- The excursion is developed in our GUIULA, a motor minorcan llaut, with a very large solarium and remobable shade canopy in the front. Shade canopy and two benches for sitting in the back of the boat, and wide platform to easy access to the sea or sit during the swimming stops. - We do a coastal navigation, very close to land to appreciate all the formations and features of the coast. It is also a slow navigation (about 7 knots / 13 km per hour), so even when sea conditions are ok the boat will suffer rocking movements depending on the waves. For this reason, although navigation is usually very pleasant, should abstain from doing this activity those people who may be affected by the movements of the boat, rough seas or seasickness.
- The navigation area between Son Saura and Llucalari includes the coves of Son Saura, Es Talaier, Turqueta, Macarella, Macarelleta, Cala Galdana, Mitjana, Mitjaneta, Trebaluger, Fustam, Escorxada, Binigaus, Sto. Tomás, Atalis, Son Bou and Llucalari (it doesn't mean we will visit alll of them)
- Do not forget to bring some long-sleeved garment (the thermal sensation when sailing in the sea is usually less than the one we have on land)
- Remember that the passenger is responsible all the way for their personal belongings, so they must responsibly determine which ones will get on board and avoid losses, falls and accidents.

Booking conditions
We assume that the client has read, understand and agree the terms and conditions listed when he makes his reservation. That is why we recommend to read carefully the CONDITIONS before proceeding with the payment and to make sure that the reservation that will be realized is for the desired type of tour, date and hour.
CANCELLATIONS OR ABSENCE OF PASSENGERS
BOARDING will take place 20 MINUTES BEFORE the start time of the excursion. Any passenger who does not show up at the point of departure ready to make the tour at the BOARDING time, whether due to delay or for any other reason, will lose his trip as well as the amount paid (in EXCLUSIVE tours, the equivalent of the delay in arrival at the meeting point will be deducted from the excursion time). If that happens, the customer wishing to do the tour at another moment will have to make a new reservation and new payment for it.
The customer may cancel his reservation at no cost up to before the 5 days prior to the date and local time of the excursion by sending us their request in writing (by email/SMS/Whatsapp). After the free return deadline, a charge of 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be applied to cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to the excursion. During the 48 hours prior to the contracted local date and time, cancellations for any reason or circumstance will not be refunded (In no case will exceptions be made in the cancellation policy due to Covid illness).
There will be no partial cancellations (cancellation of any of the contracted places) or individual refund of the canceled places or the rate change that they may imply. In case of wanting to REDUCE the number of people contracted and this implies a rate change, the client will have to cancel his reservation (assuming, if any, the penalty corresponding to the cancellation policy) and make a new reservation according to availability. In case of wanting to INCREASE the number of people hired, the client will have to ask us if it is possible and pay the difference if such an increase entails a change in the rate and there is availability.
CHANGES IN RESERVATIONS
The client can ask for a change of time, date, or passenger names of his booking sending us a written request (by email/text/Whatsapp) up to before 5 days to the excursion. This change will be subject to availability.
CANCELLATIONS BY THE COMPANY
**SHARED modalities NEED A MINIMUM OF 5 PASSENGERS to be able to be carried out in its usual way. In the event that an excursion does not reach the minimum required at its start time, the client may choose between doing the excursion of less than 5 passengers at that moment and with a REDUCED route* and no refund (SHARED 3'5 hours Excursions: REDUCED Route 2 hours in total, visit of the coves Macarella, Macarelleta, Turqueta, Mitjana, Mitjaneta and Pont de n'Ali + 1 STOP // SHARED 7 Hours Excursions: REDUCED Route 3'5 hours in total, visit of the coves Macarella, Macarelleta, Turqueta, Mitjana, Mitjaneta, Trebaluger, Fustam and Escorxada + 2 STOPS), or change the excursion to another available day or request the refund of the price paid. (*route subject to possible variations according to the criteria of the skipper and convenience for the proper development of the excursion)
This is an outdoor activity and therefore the environmental conditions may vary and may not always be ideal. Sometimes wind or cloudiness may occur, we must count with that possibility and assume that the tour could be done in those conditions and that, at the end, will be always determined by the professional judgment of the skipper if conditions are or not suitable for carrying out the tour. According to the skipper criterion, cloudiness or wind may not result in cancellation if these conditions do not prevent the good development of the excursion.
The usual route of the excursions could be altered for different reasons and always following the criteria of the skipper (according to maritime forecasts, the state of the sea, the influx of boats in a cove or the presence of jellyfish or turbidity of the water, to name a few examples).
It is impossible to know in advance how weather will be the scheduled day of the tour and it is also possible that due to worsening weather or maritime conditions the tour should be cancelled at the last moment before boarding or even during the development of the excursion. In case of interruption of the trip the grounds and conditions will be studied in order to evaluate what amount should be refunded to the customer.
**It must be taken into account that, in the event that the boat must be taken to an area other than Cala Galdana (generally due to adverse maritime conditions in the South), the client must show up himself for boarding at the new departure point previously indicated and the excursion will take place in the coves of said area, without opting for any refund or change of date/type of excursion in case of not being able to show up at the new departure point at the indicated time or not wanting to do excursion in that area of the island.
In no case any additional costs incurred by the client to carry out this activity (travel to the place of departure, etc) will be refunded.
If at any time there is any cause that prevents the development of the scheduled excursion (including breakdown of the boat or the skipper's indisposition), we would try to change the tour for another day or time, as long as that is the client's wish , the cause that caused the cancellation had been corrected and we still had availability. If none of the above was possible or the client was not interested on rescheduling, the full refund of the amount paid would be made.
Refunds will always be made by the same method used by the client for the payment of his reservation.

Payment method
- Payment will be made entirely by bank gateway (credit or debit card) at the moment of booking and you will receive by email a confirmation voucher with the indications for the tour.
Note that there may be several people trying to book the same tour at the same time so your reservation can not be confirmed until payment has been accepted and you receive your booking voucher.
- Our currency is the Euro, so all prices on our website refer to Euros. However, the secure payment gateway of our website accepts payment in Euros and in foreign currencies. If you choose to pay in a different currency than the Euro, take in mind that the payment gateway will charge you in the chosen currency the amount equivalent to the amount in Euros according to the exchange rate in effect at the moment of payment. For the same reason, in case of total or partial refund of a payment made through the payment gateway in a different currency than the Euro, this will be done in Euros and will be applied the exchange rate in effect at the moment of the refund, so that the amount paid in foreign currency and the amount received in the same currency could be different if the exchange rate had suffered some variation in the period of time between the purchase and refund.
